1. How do I register my child for photo day?
You’ll receive a registration link from your centre. Simply fill out the online form to register your child—it's quick and easy!
2. What happens if I don’t register?
If your child isn't registered before photo day, unfortunately, I won’t be able to photograph them. Registration ensures I have the right details and permission to take their photo.
3. What should my child wear?
Dress your child in comfortable clothes that reflect their personality. Solid colours or simple patterns work best, and avoid large logos or characters if possible.
4. Will siblings be photographed together?
Yes, sibling photos are available if they attend the same centre. Just indicate this when registering, and I’ll make sure to capture them together as well as individually.
5. What time do you arrive at the centre, and how long are you there?
I usually arrive at the centre early/mid morning and stay for several hours, depending on the number of children registered. Most photos are taken in the morning when children are happiest and most settled.
6. What happens if my child is shy or doesn’t want their photo taken?
That’s okay! With over 15 years as an early childhood teacher, I’m skilled at making children feel comfortable and gently encouraging them to participate. I always follow their lead to ensure a positive experience.
5. How long does the photo session take?
Each session usually takes just 2–5 minutes. I work at your child’s pace in a relaxed and fun environment.
6. How do I view and order the photos?
After photo day, you’ll receive a private online gallery link for your child. You can view the images and order prints or digital downloads directly—no paper forms or cash needed.
7. What if my child is absent on photo day?
If your child was registered but absent on the day, I’ll do my best to arrange a makeup photo when I return to deliver the photo orders.
8. Can we get class or group photos?
Yes! Class group photos will be taken where possible and are available as prints only (not digital) to respect privacy.
9. Is there a cost to have my child photographed?
There’s no upfront cost to have your child photographed. You only pay if you choose to purchase photos.
11. How much do the photos cost?
Photo prints start at just $16, and $2 from every print sold is donated back to the preschool—so your purchase not only captures a beautiful memory but also supports your child’s centre.
10. Is my child’s photo gallery private?
Absolutely. Each gallery is secure and password-protected. Only you will have access to your child’s images.
11. When will I receive my photos?
Digital photos will be available within 24 hours of payment. Print orders will be delivered to the centre within one week of the order cut-off date.
